How do I keep my rates so low?
It's true that, as consumers and business professionals, we are willing
to pay for knowledge or time that we don't have to resolve a problem
like a computer crash, virus, slow response, upgrade or install. And in
almost all cases, this is a less expensive and more practical
option than buying a brand new computer system.
However, it is also true that many local and national
computer repair companies overcharge, charge for things
that you don't need, and even keep your computer longer than necessary - taking advantage of
you or your lack of technical knowledge.
My rates reflect fair compensation for my expertise, time and
expenses ... making my services very affordable and worthwhile for
you. Along with low rates, I am an advocate of computer
education and teach my customers diagnostic, optimization, and repair
techniques during my service calls at no extra charge.

About Wuzzy
After an enlistment in the U.S. Navy learning
aviation electronics, Wuzzy worked for Control Data Corporation
as a field engineer from the mid 1960s until the company was spun off or purchased by other companies between 1988 and 1990.
In the 1990s, Wuzzy worked for ZEOS International, a PC
manufacturer of 386- and 486-based systems as well as Pentium-based
desktops and laptops. ZEOS was the first in the industry to bundle
applications with its systems, causing competitors such as Dell and
Gateway to do the same. ZEOS was the first to provide 24/7 toll-free
telephone technical support for its customers. And the company was the
first to utilize e-commerce long before the World Wide Web had any
significant presence.
Wuzzy had hands-on experience with everything from the first
microprocessor to Microsoft's release of MS-DOS and eventual releases of
Windows 3.0, Windows Workgroup, Windows NT, and Windows 95 through their
most recent effort, Windows Vista.
From 1993 through 2007, Wuzzy worked for Ldsi/Absolute!/Simple Computing
Solutions/Absolute! which specialized
in all facets of network maintenance. Clients included legal firms,
construction companies, medical transportation, and a variety of
individual projects.
